After two months closure for extensive renovations during May / June 2011, the Coco de Mer Hotel on Praslin Island is proud to announce its reopening as of the 19th of July 2011.
The lounge has been re designed in a modern, contemporary style which allows guests to immediately unwind and
relax in tropical comfort.
The Coconut bar, housed under a thatched roof, has been upgraded with new speckled grey granite counters and trimmed with black slate and copper. The whole effect is accentuated by deep blue laser lighting and is absolutely stunning.
The Coco de Mer pool, whilst retaining its renowned shape, has been modified, re‐tiled and trimmed with mosaics of Indigo blue and copper. As the sun sets, the pool comes to life with a when the inset tiny LED lights are on, transforming it into a lake of shimmering blue water.
Also included in this years upgrade are the hotel’s Superior Rooms which now have open, airy wooden decks, leading out as an extension to the roomterraces.
Each private, individual deck, allows a sense of added space and total privacy.
